Linda's daughter went through a series of horrifying situations including being trafficked and sold for sex. Mrs Harlos explains how her daughter was not held under lock and key, had contact with her parents, stayed in her home town and yet was a prisoner and victim of human trafficking. But more than that, she shows that the concentration on victims means that financial crime risk and compliance officers who want to identify the moneys related to this crime are looking in the wrong place.
