Book release: Understanding Suspicion in Financial Crime - Morris-Cotterill

Company Name

Nigel Morris-Cotterill

The publication today of the Second Edition of "Understanding Suspicion in Financial Crime" is a landmark. It is the only work to look at suspicion - and how and why people do, and do not, form suspicion and why, if they do, often they do not act in the way the law demands.

The first edition of this book was published in 2014 under the title "How does that make you feel". It was republished a year later under its current title.

In the eight years since the book was published there have been seismic shifts in the way that people form opinions .

In the second edition, Nigel Morris-Cotterill, a financial crime risk and compliance pioneer, reviews and revises the previous content and adds to it with reference to the power of persuasion of social media and the questions over so-called artificial intelligence in RegTech.

"I am immensely proud of this work," said Nigel Morris-Cotterill." I know that the first edition was highly regarded in intelligence agencies and law enforcement departments."

The book is now available in hardback and paperback from Amazon group websites.
