The facts of the case of R v Kucharski are so bizarre as to almost defy précis. Suffice it to say that a Polish national living in the UK made many robust statements that included explicit support for The Wagner Group which is proscribed in the UK. And then there was his actions, dress and weapons.

It contains a list of findings that seem increasingly ridiculous. The defence tried to say that his conduct was bravado but that seems utterly unsustainable. It's well worth reading.

Sentenced to 2 years and six months with an additional one year's release on licence. No order for deportation on completion of the sentence was made.
